促卵泡激素β亞基英語(yǔ):Follitropin subunit betafollicle-stimulating hormone beta subunit 縮寫(xiě)FSH-B)是一種由人類(lèi)基因FSHB 編碼的蛋白質(zhì)[1][2][3] 。其RNA選擇性剪接可形成該蛋白的兩種蛋白異型體。

功能

垂體糖蛋白激素家族包括促卵泡激素黃體生成素、人絨毛膜促性腺激素促甲狀腺激素,所有這些糖蛋白激素都包括一個(gè)共同的α亞基和一個(gè)特異的β亞基。FSHB 基因編碼的就是促卵泡激素的β亞基。 In conjunction with luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone induces egg and sperm production.[3]
